If you're looking to fly more advanced aircraft, receiving a complex or high-performance aircraft endorsement in your logbook is a must and is required. Lumanair offers one or both of these endorsements for pilots using our Cessna 182RG "Skylane".
For those seeking a complex endorsement, the "Skylane" features retractable landing gear, a constant speed propeller and flaps. For those looking for a high-performance endorsement, the "Skylane" has a 235-horsepower engine. Thus pilots are able to receive both endorsements at the same time, which saves flight time and money, and that is required is flight and ground training with an instructor, no checkride! Those who haven't flown a complex airplane may be required to fly 5 hours to complete the endorsement with a Lumanair CFI, but that time can be reduced to as little as two flights with prior experience. After the flight, you'd also be checked to rent our Cessna 182RG with no additional costs.
